She’s 17. I generally think teenagers are stupid. Even my own.
I shan’t sacrifice any fucks in this situation. The children are not our future.
We’re doomed. And I am OK with that at this point in my life.
No ma’am. I have to say, she’s past that acceptable ignorance stage. Which is that of babies and toddlers. At 17+, you’re old enough to be faced with the truth and form dumb ass opinions, believing they’re justified for whatever reason. She’s just an idiot. A complete idiot. As are those who retweeted her, who I doubt are all teenagers.
Some people are just stupid, no matter their age. As someone who was a precocious child, I could tell you her statement was wrong right before hopping on the big yellow bus to 1st grade. I refused to be a slave to my years because of the belief that if you are young, that you are misinformed or incapable of understanding. I, for one, chose to learn, observe, and make myself capable. Knowledge (and sometimes even wisdom) is always available, some people just don’t want it.
We don’t have to expect all children to be responsible for a better future, but I’m sure there are some who are determined enough to make a difference, and will. All it takes is one.
And on that note, fuck that bitch.
